So long vacation, I need a pedicure.

What a freakin game. From the first minute until the last penalty kick. Normally I am not a big fan of watching girls/women's soccer. I know the theory of how the women build up their plays from the back and methodically push forward and all that. But I am more into the swift explosive men's game. Maybe bred from 12 years of standing on the sideline watching my boy play? I cheered, cussed and got all revved up. I tried to walk away a couple times, but just kept getting sucked back in. Most games don’t hold this intensity, but today’s was magnetic. TiVo’s set for the semi’s Wednesday. Here is hopin they get a better ref draw!

Back to work tomorrow. The countdown to welfare begins. 12 more days and I am officially unemployed due to sell out.  I have completed all the required stuff to apply for my job back.  I don’t think I am worried about getting a job, but about getting “my” job.  I can do whatever I need to do in order to draw a paycheck, but it sure is nice to enjoy what your doing and even more of a bonus when your damn good at doing it.  All I can do now it wait it out.  Waiting…meh!

It was nice having a week off. I got my toes in the sand and did some spring cleaning.  Finally got around to planting my flower seeds.  Which are doing rather well.   I was liberated and enlightened when I organized  photos, bookmarks and files.  When was the last time you organized your bookmarks??   A bunch of mine were still up, but very few functioning.  I even found my old blog site.  Believe it or not, I still have folks I interact with from there.  I have been online forever!  Like from back in the day when AOL ruled the internets.  Now it is all about the Google.  And boy do I love me some Google.  They are like my new BFF.  Mail, chat, reader, calendar, photos, videos and blogs.  They help me surf the net and tell me where to go.   And now with +, it is as if I need nothing else.  Time will tell if my organization efforts will prompt me to finger babble more often…
